Introduction:
The QA Automation team is responsible for signing off all releases to UAT (for user sign off) and ultimately Production. We have developed (and still continue to develop) a state-of-art automation platform which allows components, integration as well as full front-to-back testing. The role is for a Team lead in the ”HTCA” team. You will be owner for EMEA HTCA cash equity world, you have take ownership, maintain HTCA new test cases as well as modifying/maintaining the existing test suite related to the Cash Equities business. Test scripts are written using a “fluent interface” developed in-house which abstracts all the technologies used (so you do not need to worry whether a message or event is sent through Tibco or TCP for example) allowing the Test engineer to focus on the test themselves and the business logic. The Cash EQ space encompasses the sales, trading side as well as Smart Order Router and all Algos provided to our clients (including dark pools) so needless to say that you will learn everything there is to know about a Cash Trading.
The role also includes liaising with the EMEA BA-PM and BTB teams in order to understand the changes they are making so that the framework can be changed accordingly; talking with QA stakeholders and numerous Test Engineer split in multiple locations

What will you be doing?
- Establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders
- To gather requirements, collect and provide feedback and test status on regular basis.
- Support of On going New/ BAU release effort across QA, UAT phases of new releases SUT (System Under Test)
- Support of test automation effort across QA, UAT phases of new releases SUT (System Under Test)
- Help manage test environment and test data ensuring support of test efforts and schedules.
- Collaborate with development teams on common approach of Continuous delivery model
- Deliver high quality work
- Develop and design automation test

What we’re looking for:

- Knowledge of Equities Trading workflow.
- 9 + Solid understanding of QA methodology, processes and procedures and team handle experience.
- Working experience of Java Server Side (J2SE 8)
- Working experience working on a Unix/Linux shell
- Experience with build stack based on Maven, Continuous Delivery, Code Quality
- Experience working in a fast paced Agile environment and managing QA deliverables
- Excellent knowledge in E2E test lifecycle (estimations, plan, strategy, scenarios, cases, execution, coordination, reporting)
- Be able to interact with global teams
- Experience in project management
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with others, self-starter
- Able to take on responsibility and work independently
- Fluent English - oral and written
- Results-oriented, self-starter with positive "can-do" attitude

Nice to Have
- Experience with Java Fluent Interface or building Java DSL
- Experience using Unit test frameworks such as JUnit or TestNg.
- Experience working in a large, globally distributed development team and within agile environment
