JOB TITLE : Instrumentation supervisor

LOCATION : Durg, Chhattisgarh

JOB SUMMARY:
The **Instrumentation Supervisor** is responsible for overseeing the installation, calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of instrumentation and control systems within an industrial or manufacturing setting. This role ensures that all instruments, such as flow meters, pressure gauges, temperature sensors, and control valves, are functioning efficiently to ensure safety, quality, and compliance with operational standards. The supervisor will manage a team of technicians and engineers, ensuring tasks are completed in a timely manner while maintaining high standards of safety and quality. Additionally, the Instrumentation Supervisor plays a key role in maintaining and improving the plant's automation and control systems.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the instrumentation team, including technicians and engineers.
- Ensure proper installation, calibration, and maintenance of all instrumentation systems and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with control systems, instrumentation, and automated processes.
- Lead and oversee preventative maintenance programs for instrumentation equipment.
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations and industry standards while working with hazardous materials and systems.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for instrumentation and control activities.
- Review and approve technical reports, maintenance logs, and system documentation.
- Train and mentor junior team members on best practices for instrumentation maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g., operations, engineering, and safety) to support production goals and address technical challenges.
- Participate in the design, selection, and procurement of new instrumentation and control equipment for plant upgrades or new projects.
- Monitor inventory and order parts or components required for instrumentation maintenance and repairs.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including environmental and safety standards.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation, Electrical Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience in instrumentation and control systems in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
- Strong knowledge of process control systems (PLC, DCS), instrumentation, and automation technologies.
- Supervisory or leadership experience, including team management and scheduling.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex instrumentation issues.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures in an industrial environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for team coordination and collaboration.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
