Key Responsibilities
- **Editing**: Edit raw footage into a polished final product that aligns with the project’s goals and the company's standards.
- **Storytelling**: Understand the narrative and flow of the video content, ensuring a coherent and compelling story.
- **Software Proficiency**: Utilize video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Avid Media Composer, and DaVinci Resolve.
- **Audio Integration**: Synchronize video and audio tracks, including music, voiceovers, and sound effects.
- **Graphics and Effects**: Add graphics, animations, and special effects as needed to enhance the visual appeal.
- **Color Correction**: Adjust colours, lighting, and shading to ensure consistency and enhance the visual aesthetics.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with the production team, including directors, producers, and other editors, to meet project deadlines and expectations.
- **Feedback Incorporation**: Implement feedback from stakeholders to refine and improve the final product.
- **Archiving**: Organize and archive footage and project files for future reference and reuse.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Media Arts, Communications, or a related field. Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
- **Experience**: Minimum of [X] years of experience in video editing, with a portfolio showcasing diverse work.
- **Technical Skills**: Proficient in video editing software and familiar with various video formats and codecs.
- **Creativity**: Strong creative skills and a keen eye for detail and visual aesthetics.
- **Communication**: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- **Time Management**: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- **Problem-Solving**: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

Preferred Skills
- **Motion Graphics**: Experience with After Effects or similar software for creating motion graphics.
- **3D Animation**: Basic knowledge of 3D animation tools such as Blender or Cinema 4D.
- **Photography**: Understanding of camera equipment and shooting techniques.
- **Web Video Production**: Experience in creating content specifically for online platforms (e.g., YouTube, social media).

Working Conditions
- **Environment**: Office-based with potential remote work options.
- **Hours**: Typical working hours with occasional evening or weekend work to meet deadlines.
- **Travel**: Occasional travel may be required for on-site editing or production work.
