Video Editing Intern

**Who are we looking for: Video Making/Editing Intern***:
**General Purpose**:
We are seeking a highly motivated and creative individual with video editing experience to join our team as a Video Editing Intern. The Video Editing Intern will assist in the production and post-production of various types of video content, including promotional videos, social media videos, and event recordings.

**Key Job Tasks and Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the video creation & editing process, including importing and organizing footage, assembling and trimming video segments, and adding effects and transitions
- Creating captivating content
- Working with our team of trainers, designers, and marketers to produce videos
- Understanding the nuances of capturing a viewer's attention via sound effects/transitions/lower thirds
- Making decisions to create an aesthetically pleasing design structure and hierarchy of elements in the video
- Assist in the creation of motion graphics and animation as needed
- Collaborate with other departments to create and share video content that aligns with our overall marketing strategy
- Assist in the management and maintenance of a video content calendar
- Stay up-to-date with the latest video production and editing trends and best practices
- Provide general administrative support as needed

**Requirements**:
**Education and Experience**
- Bachelor's degree or Masters's degree in a related field
- 0-2 years of experience

**Required Skills**:

- Strong video editing skills using software such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or Avid Media Composer
- Experience with motion graphics and animation software such as Adobe After Effects is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Creative and able to think outside the box
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team

**Required Skills/Experience/Characteristics**:

- Ability to effectively convey complex ideas in an easy-to-understand manner
- A scrappy, entrepreneurial attitude that gets high-quality projects done quickly.
- Knowledge of MS Office / Google Drive (Docs), Internet Browsing, Social Networks, Web-based tools, etc...
- Strong research and brainstorming skills are required to produce highly creative and unique content
- Must have a natural flair for writing & be able to deliver content that perfectly works for the Web
- Write exceptional content, original, grammatical-error-free, technically/conceptually authentic
- A strong presence on social media and Experience with social media properties
- Base-level understanding of search engine optimization and keyword usage
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines

**Key Competencies**:

- Good written and oral communication proficiency in English
- Should be conversant in your regional language and Hindi would be added advantage

**Interview process**:
We don't have a complicated multi-level process like corporates. But we do have 2-3 rounds to filter good talent. 1-2 rounds of online interviews, and one round of In-person interviews. Also, there will be a small writing exercise/assignment component as part of the interview process.
