**Job Title**: Anaesthetist / Intensivist
**Location**: Varanasi - Zen Kashi Cancer Hospital
**Type**: Full-time (8 hours duty)
**Department**: Operation Theatre / Critical Care

**Role Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Anaesthetist**:

- Pre-operative evaluation and risk assessment of patients
- Administer appropriate anaesthesia (general/regional/local) during surgeries
- Monitor vital signs and manage pain and consciousness levels during procedures
- Handle emergencies during surgery, including airway or cardiac complications
- Ensure post-operative pain management and recovery monitoring

**Intensivist**:

- Lead management of critically ill patients in ICU (ventilatory support, organ support)
- Perform bedside procedures (intubation, central lines, arterial lines, etc.)
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams for patient care decisions
- Manage emergency and code blue situations in ICU and ER
- Guide weaning from ventilator and end-of-life care protocols if needed

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- MBBS + MD / DNB / DA in Anaesthesia / Critical Care
- Fellowship in Critical Care (optional but preferred)
- Valid Medical Council Registration
- Experience of 2-7 years in relevant field
- Strong clinical decision-making and patient communication skills
- Ability to work in wide variety of situations and emergencies
