Experience:3-5 years BASIC PURPOSE: The Database Administrator (DBA) for AWS Services is responsible for the design, configuration, deployment, maintenance, and performance of critical AWS database services, ensuring high levels of services with foundational knowledge in SQL to seamlessly integrate these services with our existing systems. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Database Management and Deployment: Design, deploy, and manage AWS database services such as RDS (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Aurora, Oracle, MSSQL), DynamoDB, Redshift, and more. Ensure that database deployments are consistent, scalable, and optimized for performance. Performance Tuning: Monitor database service health and performance. Optimize queries, indexes, and database architecture for maximum speed and scalability. Collaborate with developers to tune and optimize database schema, SQL queries, and database service settings. Backup and Recovery: Design and implement a robust backup and recovery strategy using AWS database-specific tools. Monitor and test backups regularly to ensure data integrity and availability. Security: Ensure data privacy and security compliance (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA). Implement and maintain IAM roles and security groups for database services. Stay updated with the latest AWS security recommendations and best practices. Maintenance: Plan and execute database upgrades, patches, and migrations. Monitor storage utilization and plan for growth. 401 & 402, NextGen Avenue Building, S. B. Documentation: Document database architectures, processes, and procedures. Maintain detailed documentation for database disaster recovery plans. Cost Management: Optimize AWS database costs and usage, recommending cost-saving measures and strategies. REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS: Software Engg would report to Assistant Manager, IT-DevOps Engg QUALIFICATIONS: - Computer Information Systems Degree or any equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. - Experience with AWS DBs is a must. - Experience of Database Administration procedures, practices, and concepts - Experience with Windows based operating systems **Salary**: ₹90,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month **Speak with the employer** +91 9622484119
