**Position**: Medical Coder **Experience Level**: Fresher **Certification**: Not mandatory (Training will be provided) **Employment Type**: Full-time **Job Overview** **Key Responsibilities** - Analyze and interpret patient medical records and charts. - Assign appropriate medical codes for diagnoses, procedures, and services using ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS. - Ensure coding accuracy and adherence to regulatory standards and guidelines. - Collaborate with healthcare professionals to clarify documentation and coding-related queries. - Maintain confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations. - Participate in internal audits to ensure data accuracy and quality. **Required Skills and Qualifications**: **>** Graduate in LifeSciences, B.Pharm, or related healthcare fields. - Basic understanding of human anatomy, medical terminology, and disease processes. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Ability to work under deadlines and handle large volumes of data. - Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel). - Good communication skills and attention to detail. **Preferred Skills (Not Mandatory)** - Familiarity with ICD-10, CPT, or HCPCS coding systems. - Exposure to healthcare industry practices or medical billing.
