Semarchy was founded in 2011 in Lyon, France, by a group of former colleagues from Sunopsis before it was acquired by Oracle. **About the role**

Semarchy is looking for an experienced Cloud Architect with a background in multiple cloud platforms to join our growing team in India. This person will be responsible for working with stakeholders to build out a multi-cloud strategy to ensure all cloud based systems are secure, reliable, and aligned with business goals. They will play a critical role in the growth of the company and make sure our cloud usage doesn’t impede our work, but accelerates it. Reporting to the US based, Global VP, Security & IT Operations.

**What You’ll Do**
- Design, implement, and maintain a multi cloud strategy that aligns with the organization's objectives.
- Choose and configure the appropriate cloud services and resources for our needs
- Define the networking, security, and access control mechanisms for our cloud usage, from enterprise apps to platforms needed by SaaS products
- Optimize our cloud infrastructure for scalability, performance, and cost-efficiency
- Collaborate with the DevOps and Operations teams to ensure smooth integration of the CI/CD pipeline with the cloud environment
- Provide guidance on cloud best practices and recommend improvements to the CI/CD process
- Manage cost effectiveness of cloud resources being used and provide guidance on best practices.

**Must Have**
- Approximately, 6+ years experience in architecting cloud infrastructure on at least two major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
- 5+ years experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform to define and manage cloud resources
- 4+ years of experience with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes, Amazon ECS, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)
- 6+ years experience with cloud networking such as VPCs, Security Groups, ACLs, Virtual Networks, Network Security Groups, VPNs, Load Balancers, etc..
- 6+ years of experience with cloud storage
- 4+ years experience Experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) on cloud platforms such as AWS IAM, AWS IAM Identity Center, Azure AD, and Google Cloud IAM
- A commitment to continuously generating value and creating impact for the greater good of Semarchy and each other
- Excellent command of spoken and written English, facilitating collaboration in an international and diverse environment

**Nice to Have**
- Familiarity with cloud security solutions like Cloudflare or similar tools
- Experience with Service Mesh in Kubernetes
- Experience with API gateways and their configuration in a cloud environment
- Located in the greater New Delhi, India area
