**Job Overview**:
A powerplant executive monitors the engine by gathering vital engine parameters and measures them for change in trend. The trend changes are based on their co-relation indicate potential issues with the engine. This enables in predicting engine failure and helps improve the engine durability and reliability

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Daily Review of MOC report for Incidents/ Defects/ Delays etc., for engine and APU related ATA systems and components and provide necessary technical inputs during daily morning meeting
- Evaluate AD/SB/SL/SIL/AOT/OIT/other technical publications pertaining to Engines/APUs and provide inputs during monthly ADRM and ensure timely compliance of the same
- Prepare/Issue necessary Engineering Instructions or other documents required for compliance of above said documents
- Keep track of all modifications being accomplished both On-wing and Off-wing
- Preparation of Weekly Engine/APU watchlist
- Review of EHM twice a week for all Engine/ APU models and bring any adverse trend to the notice of the Manager
- Preparation of weekly Engine/APU report for management
- Analyze reliability data of components regularly and liaise with respective OEMs to provide relevant inputs for improvement in monthly reliability meeting
- Prepare short term/long term engine removal plans
- Co-ordinate with various departments to ensure smooth and timely export/Import of all Engines/APUs
- Prepare and provide relevant documents for Engine/APU induction in shop
- Regular co-ordination with shops to ensure efficient TAT
- Review of shop documents while induction Engine/APU back from shop visit for correctness /completeness and back to birth trace of LLPs
- Scrutiny of all engines related Monthly PBTH or shop invoices and process for payment by preparing PRF
- Update data and track Dashboards with respective OEMs at least on Quarterly basis
- Any other task assigned from time to time

**Skills & Attributes**:

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office including MS Excel and PowerPoint
- Sound understanding of the courses being taught
- Sound skill to deliver training
- Management skills: To resolve operational challenges & conflicts

**Work Experience**:
18 Months of experience in aviation with minimum 1 year in Powerplant /Technical Services/Engineering function in any airline or experience with OEM is preferred

**Qualification**:

- Degree in Aeronautical Engineering or
- AME Diploma in Mechanical Stream
