Textile Designer

**Artifex HR is hiring for an Indian subsidiary of French MNC manufacturing articles of luxury fashion apparel and furnishings for exports and Indian market.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare the annual collection themes and design inspirations selected by Mr. Lesage.
- Conceptualize the designs, propose materials and fabrics to match the design vision.
- Select techniques and follow samples in consultation with team; prepare all the necessary information to determine the costing.
- Source new and innovative materials and fabrics and create a special library for the same.
- Documentation of the full process with all details.

**Requirements**:

- Background in design with a knowledge of or an exposure to hand embroidery, someone with an interest in and an aptitude for implementation rather than a purely creative role.
- Prior experience in a design/têxtile firm.
- Eye for detail combined with a practical sense, organised, efficient, self-motivated.
- Excellent communication skills, team player, fluency in English; knowledge of Tamil and/or Hindi is a plus.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Illustrator, SketchUp or similar design software Office.

Experience - 2 to 5 years

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
