Carry out FEED, Proposal and Detail Engineering of Rotary equipment / Packages including manhour estimation.
- Experience in engineering of Rotating equipment (viz: Pumps, Compressors, Fans, Blowers, Steam and Gas Turbines) and Packages viz: Utility / Process plant packages like ETP, Cooling Tower, DM Water, PSA, Fire water Pump package, in Chemical, Petrochemical and Refinery plants.
- Thoroughly conversant with selection of rotating machinery viz. Compressors, Steam turbines, GAs Turbines, pumps, blowers and fans.
- Fully conversant with leading International / National Codes & Standards such as API, ASME, ISO, ANSI and other codes related to various rotating equipment and packages.
- Familiar with material standards and specifications as well as the requirements of ASME and HIS.
- Actively communicate with other disciplines to optimise areas of interface during the design development stages
- Carry out discussions with Client / PMC independently. Communicate with Vendors effectively.
- Preparation / Review of Mechanical Data Sheets and Specifications for Rotating Equipment / Packages.
- Preparation and review of Material Requisition for Procurement Engineering.
- Bid Evaluation of the various vendors offers
- Preparation and review of TBE and Technical recommendation for purchase
- Review and approval of VDR / critical / important vendor documents / drawings
- Good communication & interpersonal skills with strong analytics, problem solving & organizational abilities and
- Competency to provide Value Engg. input for machinery and Packages.
- Experience in Participation in Equipment PRT/MRT /Package testing.
