**Project Background**

Doctors for You (DfY) supported Clinic on Wheels services envisaged to facilitate access to public health care services, particularly to people living close to the international border of India - Pakistan in Guru Har Sahai Block of Ferozepur district, Punjab.

**Key Components/Services**
- Conduct a need assessment in the targeted locations
- Preparing a micro-plan for project implementation
- Conducting General OPDs through MMU driven community-based health camps and health care facilities
- Free Medicine (Generic medicines) /Dispensary services and networking with Jan Aushadi Kendra
- Handholding support via Call Center and Issuing a toll free - Helpline Number
- Referral to Government Tertiary Hospital
- Data management of Patients and Medicines
- Generating reports to track the progress of the project
- Monitoring and evaluation by Project Monitoring Unit (PMU) field visits, review meetings and feedbacks from the beneficiaries
- Sustaining the impact with awareness on health, hygiene and sanitation for social Behavioral change and Networking with Government Health Department/ District Administration, Swachh Bharat initiatives, etc

**Key Responsibilities**

**Your Core Roles and Responsibilities**
- Diagnosis and Treatment while ensuring detailed history taking and proper documentation.
- Providing quality empathetic outpatient/clinical consultations to all patients who visit the screening OPD.
- Care of patients in diverse settings including but not limited to in-patient, outpatient, health camps and mobile clinics
- Ensuring the quality, disinfection and sterilization of the medical material has been done by the clinical support staff
- Assuring general compliance with standing hygiene standards.
- Informing the project coordinator about any problem or complication of the patient’s illness, and monitor the proper functioning of the department, equipment or material.
- Ensuring ongoing training of the clinical support team in order to optimize the quality of care.
- Alert and readiness to participate in medical emergencies and on calls as and when required
- Ensuring strict rules on infection prevention and control to make sure family members or patient care takers are not there on the ward
- You could be relocated to different locations based on the project requirements during your tenure.
- Adhering to the strict infection prevention and control guidelines that will be present on the ward in order to ensure that onward transmission of the disease is mitigated.

**Qualification & Experience**

**Essential**:

- MBBS
- 1- 2 years experience(preferred)

**Salary**: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Ferozepur, Punjab: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
