Job Summary

Preprimary Teachers are responsible for providing a safe and nurturing environment for children aged 1.8-6 years. They develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities to promote the social, emotional, intellectual, and physical development of each child.

Key Responsibilities

1. Curriculum Development and Implementation
- Plan and implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum.
- Design lesson plans and activities that foster learning in various areas such as language, motor skills, social skills, and cognitive development.
- Use creative teaching methods including play, storytelling, arts and crafts, music, and physical activities.

2. Classroom Management
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Establish and maintain routines and expectations that support positive behavior and a sense of community.
- Monitor and address any behavioral issues with sensitivity and fairness.

3. Child Development Observation and Assessment
- Observe and document children's progress and development.
- Conduct regular assessments to track children's growth and development.
- Communicate with parents/guardians about their child's progress, development, and any concerns.

4. Health and Safety
- Ensure the classroom is clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Follow all safety and emergency procedures as outlined by the school.
- Administer basic first aid when necessary and keep accurate records of incidents.

5. Parental and Community Engagement
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents/guardians.
- Organize and participate in parent-teacher meetings, school events, and community activities.
- Encourage parental involvement in classroom activities and school programs.

6. Professional Development
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational trends and best practices.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share resources and strategies.
- Reflect on and improve teaching practices regularly.

**Qualifications**:

- Education: Diploma in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- Experience: Freshers can apply. Previous experience working with young children in an educational setting is preferred.
- Certification: Relevant teaching certification or credential as required by the state or institution.
- Skills:

- Strong understanding of child development principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Creativity and enthusiasm for teaching young children.
- Patience, compassion, and flexibility.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Working Conditions
- The job typically involves working in a classroom setting.
- May require standing for extended periods, bending, and lifting.
- Regular hours are typically aligned with the school calendar, including some evenings and weekends for events and meeting.

**Job Type**: Permanent

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
