The Billing Staff is responsible for accurately processing food and beverage transactions in a corporate cafeteria environment within an IT campus. This role ensures efficient, error-free billing, excellent customer service, and proper record-keeping in line with company policies and cafeteria vendor agreements.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Billing Operations**:

- Operate the POS (Point-of-Sale) system to process food and beverage orders.
- Generate invoices and receipts for all sales transactions.
- Ensure pricing is correctly applied based on menu and discounts (if applicable).
- **Cash & Digital Payment Handling**:

- Accept cash, cards, meal coupons, or digital payments (UPI, wallet, etc.).
- Reconcile the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Maintain daily transaction logs and submit reports to the supervisor or finance.
- **Customer Service**:

- Greet employees and visitors in a friendly and courteous manner.
- Handle queries about pricing, menu items, or payment issues professionally.
- Address and escalate any customer complaints to the F&B manager promptly.
- **System & Inventory Coordination**:

- Update POS systems with menu items and pricing changes as instructed.
- Coordinate with kitchen and stock staff to monitor item availability and avoid billing errors.
- Inform the supervisor of any system malfunctions or discrepancies.
- **Compliance & Hygiene**:

- Follow hygiene protocols and wear a uniform/ID badge as per company policy.
- Comply with internal audit standards for billing accuracy and transaction handling.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- **Education**: High school diploma/Bcom
- **Experience**: 1-2 years in billing/cashier roles, preferably in F&B or retail environments; corporate cafeteria or tech park experience is a plus.
- **Skills**:

- Good numerical and reconciliation skills.
- Proficiency with billing/POS software and MS Excel.
- Customer service orientation and communication skills.
- Trustworthy, punctual, and detail-oriented.

**Working Conditions**:

- Office campus / corporate cafeteria setting.
- Shift-based work (typically day shifts, may include weekends depending on company policy).
- Standing for extended hours during peak times (breakfast, lunch, evening).

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
