
Cook for Cafeteria

We have a vacancy for a Cook specializing in Home Style Cooking, preferably with experience in cooking for large numbers (bulk cooking) of vegetarian as well as non-vegetarian meals.
Responsibilities will include:
- Preparing of meals and ensuring good quality at all times at the Cafe.
- Should be able to cook Indian home style meals as well as restaurant quality meals as and when required. (training for restaurant quality can be provided)
- Must follow the recipe given by the Head Chef of the Manager to ensure that the food is consistently of high quality.
- Managing the kitchen staff in coordination with the Head Chef of the main kitchen.
- Timely ordering items required for the kitchen (food supplies + utensils, ancillary items)
- Ensuring that the kitchen is always in a clean and hygienic condition.
- Supporting the junior staff (cooks) as and when they require help
- Minimum wastage - so has to follow system to ensure that there is no wastage while also ensuring that there are no delays in food preparation.
- Has to ensure that all plausible customer needs are met

**Experience**:
- Cooking: 7 years (preferred)
- Indian or Home Style Food: 5 years (preferred)
