We are looking for an (Associate) Content Editor to join our Biblio Curation team in Chennai/Hyderabad. This is an amazing opportunity to work on Derwent. We have a great skill set in analytical and logical thinking and we would love to speak with you if you have the yearning to know more about patents.
About You
- Education: B.Sc - Mathematics, Physics or Chemistry (includes Allied Courses)
- You can be a fresh grad or a talent with a year’s experience in patent background.
- Certified computer and internet literacy with good keyboard skills.

- Knowledge & understanding about patents search and process.
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
What will you be doing in this role?
- You will be responsible for data correction & standardizing Patent Bibliographic information, and creation of Patent families in line with editorial policies and conventions.
- Identify patents that relates to the same invention and curate the patent data.
- To take responsibility for identifying technology training and developmental needs for yourself on an on-going basis.
About team
The team works for in delivering Patent Bibliographic information in line with editorial policies for DWPI (Derwent World Patent Index) product which is a proprietary database to easily search and identify Patent Bibliographic and Patent family information.
Hours of Work
9 AM to 6 PM IST (including one hour break)
Workdays: Monday to Friday (work from office 2-3 days/week)
Location: Chennai/Hyderabad
