**Mainframe Automation Architect**

**Experience: 15+ years**

**Locations**:Work From Anywhere (Remote)

**Primary Skills**:Archiect's role to Lead, Design & Develop Solutions to highly complex mainframe environment, zOS

**Desired Skills & Responsibilities**
- Must be a self-starter with effective oral and written communication skills, an experienced problem solver who seeks assistance when necessary.
- Must be adaptable to changing circumstances, able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work well in a team-oriented environment.
- Must be able to take direction.
- Provide systems integration. management, migration, coding and conversion support
- Will work with clients to determine requirements, then design and implement solution.Expert automation and z/OS environmental skills.
- Prior OPS REXX programming experience is required. Knowledge of TSO REXX, SQL, ISPF, JCL and General Workbench Utilities preferable.
- Knowledge of OPSMVS, and Automation Point products highly preferable.
- Knowledge of zVM and zLinux is preferable, as is knowledge of the CA-VMOperator.

**Preferred**:

- Experience in BNYM environments.
