- Negotiate contracts, terms, and deadlines with vendors and suppliers.
- Issue purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
- Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and other important procurement data.
- Collaborate with internal departments to determine purchasing needs and specifications.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor inventory levels and initiate replenishment as necessary.
- Resolve supply, quality, or delivery issues with vendors.
- Assist in the development and implementation of procurement strategies.
