**Position Purpose**

Settlement of Security transactions and associated products in a timely and cost effective manner

Timely resolution of nostro and depot breaks

Mitigation of operational and reputational risk by escalating in a timely and efficient manner

Liaising with clients, brokers / counterparties and other internal support functions for smooth settlement of trades

**Responsibilities**:

- Monitoring of Operational Risk
- Operational risk and risk of fraud set at a minimum by having in place consistent and adequate control
- ORUS: signoff completed daily with full disclosure of detailed reports checked, issues faced and risk accurately assesses
- Improve existing processes with overall STP flow and ensure highest quality of booking
- Issues identified and timely escalated to his/her direct management, FO/MO management and Permanent Control team.
- Position Management:

- Guarantee accurate trading positions in BO systems
- Comparing positions between MO and BO.
- Daily goal is to correct all discrepancies originated by system bugs, input mistakes, information loss
- To ensure all reconciliations are performed in timely manner and all breaks are resolved
- Balance cash from premiums and bond collateral with the OCC
- Reconcile all trades & premiums in the Overall balancing report
- Option Exercise & Assignments- Coverage for 3 weekly (M,W,F) & 1 monthly (3rdFriday & Saturday of month) option expirations
- Requirement to work late Friday evening & following Saturday AM of monthly expiry

**Qualifications**:

- BS ? Economics, Finance, Accounting or other related field of study.
- Ability to work US Hours
- Detailed knowledge and experience with option booking and exercises & assignments
- Knowledge of Options & OCC?s Encore system.
- Knowledge & use of Broadridge
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Maintains high quality of customer service when communicating with clients.
- Proactive/Reactive to FO and client demands.
- Strong sense of risk and critical thinking.
- Rigorous and well organized.
- Maintains acceptable response to stress.
- Ability to effectively listen and communicate.
- Display good relationship qualities, team spirit, and ability to work cross-functionally.

**Experience Required**

Minimum of 5 years working with Options

Minimum 5 years of Capital Markets, Operations and Client Service experience

**Skills Required**:
