**Lab Chemist - Metallurgist (Spectro & Mechanical Testing)Job Summary**:
The Lab Chemist - Metallurgist will focus on conducting spectrochemical analysis, wet chemistry testing, and mechanical testing of metals and alloys to ensure quality and performance standards are met.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Spectrochemical Analysis**: Perform **OES**, **XRF**, and **ICP** analysis to determine material composition.
- **Wet Chemical Analysis**: Conduct classical **titration**, **gravimetric**, and **acid-base** tests to analyze metal alloys.
- **Mechanical Testing**: Carry out tests such as **tensile strength**, **hardness**, and **impact testing** using **UTM**, **hardness testers**, and **impact testers**.
- **Reporting & Compliance**: Document results, prepare reports, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
- **Equipment Maintenance**: Calibrate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Metallurgy, Materials Science, or related field.
- Experience with spectrochemical and wet chemistry testing, and mechanical testing of metals.
- Proficient in operating testing instruments and analysis tools.
- Knowledge of lab safety and quality standards.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to handle lab equipment and perform tests safely.
- Occasional lifting of samples or equipment.
