**Job Summary**:
As a Fashion Designer, you will be responsible for creating unique and innovative designs that align with brand identity, target market, and seasonal trends. This role involves the entire design process, from research and conceptualization to final production. You will work closely with other design team members, including pattern makers, tailors, and merchandisers, to bring creative ideas to life.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Design Conceptualization**:

- Conduct market research to identify consumer needs, fashion trends, colors, fabrics, and styles.
- Create mood boards, sketches, and digital illustrations to present design ideas.
- Develop seasonal collections with creative themes that reflect brand values.
- **Trend Analysis and Forecasting**:

- Stay updated on global fashion trends, fabrics, and materials.
- Attend fashion shows, exhibitions, and industry events for inspiration and trend analysis.
- Adapt international trends to meet the brand’s aesthetic and consumer demographics.
- **Material Selection and Sample Creation**:

- Select appropriate fabrics, patterns, and embellishments for designs.
- Work closely with suppliers to source quality materials within budget.
- Oversee the sample-making process, ensuring the finished product aligns with design specifications.
- **Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams**:

- Coordinate with pattern makers, tailors, and sample makers to turn designs into tangible products.
- Work with merchandisers and buyers to understand consumer feedback and adjust designs accordingly.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to effectively promote seasonal collections.
- **Production Oversight**:

- Ensure quality control throughout the design and production process.
- Oversee the fit and finishing of garments, making adjustments as needed.
- Monitor production timelines to meet launch dates and delivery schedules.
- **Presentation and Reporting**:

- Present design ideas and collections to management or clients.
- Prepare reports on design performance, feedback, and market response.
- Document and maintain design archives for future reference and collections.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field.
- Strong portfolio showcasing creativity, versatility, and technical skills.
- Proficiency in design software, such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD.
- Knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, and têxtiles.
- Excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing fashion trends and consumer demands.

**Preferred Experience**:

- 2+ years of experience as a Fashion Designer or in a similar role.
- Experience with sustainable and ethical design practices is a plus.
