**Summary of Job**
- The Formulation Analytical Development Scientist will be responsible for handling and operating advanced analytical instruments (PXRD, DSC, TGA, PSD, Microscope, NMR, DVS) to characterize solid forms during the pre-formulation stage of drug development. This role involves performing detailed analyses to identify and optimize the solid-state properties of pharmaceutical compounds. The scientist will conduct polymorph screening, salt selection, and co-crystal screening, providing critical data to support formulation development. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and a strong background in solid-state chemistry and analytical methodologies are essential for this position.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Operate and maintain advanced analytical instrumentation including PXRD, DSC, TGA, DVS, PSD, Microscope, NMR.
- Perform routine calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of instruments to ensure accurate and reliable results.
- Conduct comprehensive solid form screening studies, including polymorph, salt, and co-crystal screening.
- Analyze solid-state properties of pharmaceutical compounds to identify and characterize polymorphs, solvates, hydrates, and amorphous forms.
- Develop and validate analytical methods for the characterization of solid forms.
- Optimize experimental protocols to improve accuracy, efficiency, and reproducibility.
- Interpret complex analytical data and generate detailed technical reports and presentations.
- Collaborate with formulation scientists, process chemists, and other stakeholders to discuss findings and support decision-making in drug development projects.
- Prepare and review technical reports and regulatory documentation.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate and detailed laboratory records.

**Qualification**
- M. Pharma, M.Sc. or M Tech with relevant specialisation in Pharmaceutical Sciences

**Experience**
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in characterize solid forms during the pre-formulation stage of drug development.
