Data Solutions - Trainee

This role is for a Analyst with deep interest in Data Analysis, visualisation and engineering.

As a member of the Data & BI team, you will help build robust data platforms that will serve our stakeholders and help make better decisions. Business users would use visualization tools like Power BI, Report Builder, Spotfire; the team is responsible to make sure they always have an accurate, understandable and reliable data source.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Developing various business intelligence and data solutions.
- Collect, organise, analyse and interpret data and statistical information to extrapolate behaviour and patterns from the data that will provide innovation direction and value addition to the business using SQL and BI/Visualisation tools such as Power BI, Report Builder, Spotfire, MSBI.
- Be able to appreciate truly Agile ways of working/development using tools like Jira/Confluence.
- Collaborate with peers across various levels for experiential learnings.
- Carry out Testing, Bug fixing, UAT along with the customers | clients | stakeholders.

Qualification and Experience
- Preferably should have Technical/Science Graduation degree with specialization in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Analytics, Engineering or related discipline.
- 0 to 1 years of relevant experience in Data Analytics space.
- The ability to participate effectively in meetings with business stakeholders.
- The ability to work as part of an integrated team or on an individual basis.

Required Competence / Knowledge / Skills (mandatory)
- Python or other programming language skills.
- Good understanding of Database types and structures.
- Experience with SQL.
- Good understanding of ETL
- Basic understanding of different data warehouse Concepts.

Good to have Competence / Knowledge / Skills (Desired)
- Experience using Power BI, Report Builder.
- Strong knowledge of Python.
- Cloud based implementations on Azure platform.
- PowerShell scripting,.NET technologies, SharePoint development.
