**Job Title: Associate Architect**

**Overview**:
We are seeking a highly skilled, motivated, and visionary **Associate Architect** to join our dynamic architectural team. The Associate Architect will work closely with senior leadership, guiding and mentoring junior team members while leading the design and technical execution of complex and innovative architectural projects. As an Associate Architect, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating architectural projects, ensuring that all aspects of the design and implementation align with client expectations, regulatory standards, and the firm’s quality goals. You will also serve as a leader within the team, managing project workflows, technical documents, and client communications.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Project Leadership & Design Execution**: Lead and oversee the development of architectural designs, ensuring that they meet both client objectives and technical requirements. Coordinate project activities from initial concept to detailed design and construction documentation. Provide design solutions that integrate aesthetic, functional, and sustainable considerations.
- **Client Relationship Management**: Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and consultants. Ensure that the architectural vision is effectively communicated and client expectations are managed.
- **Team Leadership & Collaboration**: Manage project teams, including junior and intermediate architects, designers, and consultants, fostering collaboration and guiding design execution. Provide mentorship and direction, ensuring that team members meet deadlines, maintain design integrity, and develop their professional skills.
- **Design & Technical Development**: Oversee the development of high-quality design drawings, 3D models, and renderings. Ensure that technical specifications, material selections, and building systems are effectively incorporated into the design. Ensure that designs adhere to zoning, building codes, and industry standards.
- **Construction Documentation & Coordination**: Lead the preparation of comprehensive construction documentation, including architectural drawings, schedules, and specifications. Ensure coordination between architectural, structural, mechanical, and other disciplines. Ensure that documentation is detailed, accurate, and meets the project’s goals.
- **Quality Control & Design Reviews**: Conduct regular design reviews and ensure adherence to project specifications, codes, and industry standards. Review and approve all architectural drawings, design materials, and technical details. Ensure that designs reflect the firm’s quality and excellence.
- **Regulatory Compliance & Permitting**: Ensure that all designs comply with local building codes, zoning laws, and other regulatory requirements. Lead efforts in obtaining necessary permits and approvals from relevant authorities.
- **Project Management Support**: Assist in managing project timelines, budgets, and resources. Track project progress and ensure that project goals are achieved within scope, schedule, and budget constraints. Provide regular updates to clients, senior leadership, and internal teams regarding project status.
- **Collaboration across Disciplines**: Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and consultants to ensure smooth project delivery. Act as a bridge between design teams and other professionals, ensuring that all technical and design elements are aligned.
- **Professional Development & Thought Leadership**: Participate in industry events, conferences, and professional organizations. Stay current with the latest trends and best practices in architecture, design, and technology. Actively contribute to the knowledge base of the firm and encourage innovation and continuous improvement.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
- **Experience**: 5+ years of professional experience in architecture, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality architectural projects. Experience managing all phases of design, including concept, schematic design, design development, and construction documentation.
- **Licensing**: Architectural licensure COA (Counsel of Architect) required and IIA preferred.
- **Software Proficiency**: Expertise in AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, Sketch Up, and 3D modelling software. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and rendering software (e.g., V-Ray, Enscape)
