Quality Controller

**Quality Inspection and Testing**:

- Perform thorough inspections of clothing items at different stages of production, including raw materials, pre-production samples, and finished garments.
- Evaluate garments for quality, fit, finish, construction, and adherence to design specifications, including measurements, stitching, and trims.
- Conduct fabric and color quality checks to ensure they meet the company's standards.
- Perform functional tests, such as checking zippers, buttons, snaps, and other closures for proper functioning.
- Use appropriate tools, equipment, and measurement devices to conduct inspections and tests accurately.

**Quality Assurance and Compliance**:

- Ensure that garments meet the company's quality standards, industry regulations, and customer expectations.
- Collaborate with suppliers, manufacturers, and internal teams to communicate quality requirements and resolve quality-related issues.
- Develop and implement quality control processes, procedures, and checklists to ensure consistent quality throughout production.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with quality control standards, policies, and procedures.
- Provide feedback to production teams and suppliers regarding quality issues and recommend corrective actions.

**Documentation and Reporting**:

- Maintain detailed records of inspections, test results, and quality assessments.
- Generate reports summarizing quality findings, including defects, non-conformities, and areas for improvement.
- Document and communicate any product quality issues, including identifying root causes and suggesting preventive measures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as design, production, and purchasing, to address quality-related concerns and implement corrective actions.

**Supplier and Vendor Management**:

- Evaluate and qualify suppliers and vendors based on their ability to meet quality requirements.
- Conduct supplier audits and visits to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Provide guidance and support to suppliers in improving their manufacturing processes and quality control procedures.
- Collaborate with suppliers to resolve quality issues, implement corrective actions, and monitor continuous improvement efforts.

**Continuous Improvement**:

- Stay updated on industry trends, new materials, and garment construction techniques to enhance quality control processes.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and participate in initiatives to enhance overall quality and efficiency.
- Provide training and guidance to production teams and other stakeholders on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent education required. A degree or certification in fashion, têxtiles, or quality control is a plus.
- Proven experience as a quality controller or inspector in the clothing industry.
- Strong knowledge of garment construction, fabric types, and industry quality standards.
- Familiarity with quality control techniques, tools, and methodologies.
- Attention to detail and ability to identify defects and quality issues accurately.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to assess quality-related challenges and propose effective solutions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using quality control software, measurement tools, and office productivity tools.
- Knowledge of applicable regulations and standards related to clothing quality and safety.
- Willingness to travel for supplier visits and audits, if required.

**Salary**: ₹80,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
