The role is best suits for you, if you are eager to use your knowledge and expertise in empowering researchers and/or scientists of tomorrow, who are currently working with mass spectrometry technologies in Biopharma and Biologics.

The Application Support Scientist is responsible for following:

- Strategically planning and execution of sample analysis using Sciex Separations equipment(s)..
- Plan and deliver training courses, provide phone, web and in-lab technical support to researchers in the field of Biopharma and biologics alongside monitoring customer satisfaction through regular contact with key accounts.
- Pre-sales demonstration of Sciex Separations instruments and related workflows.
- Prepare and/or deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations at scientific conferences
- Conduct and deliver regular trainings/refreshers for sales and service teams and Coach junior members of the team.

This position is field-based and part of the Sciex Application team and will be located in India (Bangalore)_._ and will be responsible for supporting the Biopharma growth of the Sciex Separations business in the region.

**In this role, you will have the opportunity to**:

- Generate technical content on Therapeutic Peptide, Protein Chemistry, Therapeutic Oligonucleotides; mAb Characterisations etcusing Sciex LC-MS platform
- Pre-sales demonstration of Sciex Separations instruments and workflows. This will include working with sales teams on the qualification of customers/sales strategy, the development of LC-MS based analytical methods and generation of demonstration reports
- Deliver high quality support to users to drive customer satisfaction, leading to development, nurturing and retention of key customer base.
- Conduct and deliver training courses /refreshers learning session to our customers
- Prepare and/or deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations at scientific conferences

**The essential requirements of the job include**:

- M. Sc in Biotechnology/Biochemistry (> 8 year of industry experience) / Ph.D. in Biotechnology/Biochemistry (0-4 years of experience)
- 0-4 years of relevant experience in BioPharma Specialization. Experience in the area of Therapeutic Peptide, Protein Chemistry, Therapeutic Oligonucleotides; mAb Characterisations using LC-MS platform research shall be preferred.
- In-depth understanding of analytical techniques in research, specific to Liquid Chromatography tandem mass spectrometry. Preferable to have hands on experience related to other instrumentation and techniques in LC-MS workflows
- Highest levels of personal and professional integrity and ethics with good verbal and written English language communication skills.
- Proven experience of teaching or training the use of separations sciences equipment

**Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements**:

- As this is field-based Job based out of Bangalore (India) and support to be extended majorly to BioPharma customer across India. The role demands about 50% of travel within India.

**It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in**:

- Proven experience of teaching or training the use of separations sciences equipment.
- Exposure to SCIEX technologies and Software’s
