**Job Summary**

**Requirements**:

- **Proficiency in Python**: Strong experience in Python, with a solid understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, and libraries like NumPy and Pandas.
- **Deep Expertise in PyTorch**: Hands-on experience in PyTorch for building and deploying machine learning models, including handling custom loss functions, optimizers, and various neural network architectures.
- **Machine Learning Knowledge**: Strong foundation in machine learning and deep learning concepts, including convolutional neural networks (CNNs), recurrent neural networks (RNNs), transformers, and transfer learning.
- **Experience with Large Datasets**: Ability to work with large datasets, including data augmentation, normalization, and handling class imbalances.
- **Familiarity with Model Deployment**: Knowledge of deploying ML models in a production environment using frameworks like Docker, ONNX, or TensorRT.
- **Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills**: Ability to troubleshoot, analyze, and optimize model performance and computational efficiency.
- **Collaboration and Communication**: Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

**Bonus Skills**
- Capable of developing chatbots and **retrieval-augmented generation** (RAG) systems, or the ability to quickly learn through hands-on practice.
- Proficiency in **prompt engineering** and **model tuning** to optimise AI model performance, with the capacity to learn strategies to address issues like hallucinations.
- Knowledge of **containerisation** for deploying AI models (**Docker**, **Kubernetes**) or willingness to quickly learn.
- Familiarity with **data warehousing**, **SQL**/**NoSQL**, and **data lakes** to handle large datasets.
- Experience in predictive modelling and recommendation engines for marketing & lead generation, or willingness to gain proficiency in this area.
- Familiarity with PHP/ Laravel.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (**AWS**, **GCP**, **Azure**)and willingness to learn AI-specific services on these platforms, such as Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker and Azure Cognitive Search.
- Understanding of data privacy laws, GDPR, and ethical AI practices to ensure compliance and build trustworthy systems.
