**Job Title: News Channel Intern**

**Location**: Chandigarh

**Duration**: 3 months, 6 months Unpaid

**About Us**: North News is a leading news organization dedicated to delivering accurate, timely, and engaging news coverage. Our team is committed to upholding journalistic integrity while providing a platform for diverse voices and stories.

**Position Overview**: We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic interns to join our news team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced world of journalism and broadcasting. Interns will assist with various aspects of news production, research, and reporting.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in researching news stories and current events.
- Support reporters in gathering information, conducting interviews, and writing scripts.
- Monitor news feeds and social media for breaking news and trends.
- Attend editorial meetings and contribute ideas for news coverage.
- Collaborate with team members on special projects and features.
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed.

**Qualifications**:

- Currently pursuing a degree in Journalism, Communications, Media Studies, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with news production processes and media platforms.
- Basic knowledge of video editing software is a plus (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro).
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and adapt to changing news environments.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
