**Primary Responsibilities**: Lead the operations team to execute the daily tasks to meet the production plan. Utilize within the shift: documents, materials, or products and monitor work processes to assess completeness, accuracy, and conformance to standards and specifications. Promote Safety awareness and ensure adherence to safety practices. Execute staffing assignments between Substrate Fabrication. Identifies Best Practices and implements checklists in accordance with Work Instructions.Maintain training records for the operations function and effectively implement Cross-Training to maximize shift coverage. Accountable for the Quality of work and adherence to Work Instructions. Leads shift change meeting to exchange information with incoming Shift Leader to ensure consistent communication of planned activities. Lead implementation of projects. Report equipment abnormalities through the service request system. Works with Equipment Engineers to perform Preventative Maintenance activities and develop trouble shooting guides for technicians. Work with Production Scheduler to maintain proper inventory levels. Work with Production Scheduler to implement produce to plan work process. Approve time cards and track labor hours by area. Escalate production plan issues to Production Scheduler. Conduct performance appraisals for direct reports.
