To direct and oversee co-curricular sporting provision across the whole school, overseeing the main areas of Sports events, Sports Academy Leadership, extra-curricular sports provision, facilities and resources and budget management. Also to work alongside the Heads of Curriculum PE (Lower School and Upper School) and staff responsible for the extracurricular activity programme across the school to ensure success for students and a collaborative approach to shared use of facilities and organisation of sports events.

Duties and Responsibilities Fixtures and Events Management (Sports Promotion / External Relations)

1. Oversee the smooth organisation of events both on and offsite for inter-school fixtures and elite sport including but not limited to: SEASAC, FOBISIA, BISA, routine fixtures

2. Oversee and effectively manage the sports programme, annual BISA and FOBISIA calendar, bookings, transport and budgeting for events and attend Athletic Director meetings

3. Act as the public face of sport at Harrow Bangkok and champion its place in the wider school curriculum

4. Work with the Academy managers and Heads of PE to manage Harrow’s competitive sports teams, skilfully balancing mass-participation with provision for elite sport

5. Ensure clear and regular communication of sporting events and initiatives to key staff and across the school community

6. Line manage the sports admin team effectively to support with the administration and recording of event attendance, results, travel planning etc

Sports Academy and Extra Curricular Activities/Coach Management

1. Manage Academy Heads of the Football, Tennis, Gymnastics, Golf and Swim Academies 2. Work with the Directors of Finance and Operations to maintain financial oversight and effective use of academy budgets

3. Work with HR to ensure coaches and Academy staff are working safely, effectively and in line with school expectations

4. Lead the quality assurance and accountability mechanisms for all co-curricular sports staff, whether employees of the school or outside providers

5. Ensure that sports activities are effectively and efficiently staffed considering use of school staff and/or professional coaches

6. Liaise closely with the Principal Deputy Head on the co-curricular sporting calendar

7. Advise the Principal Deputy Head on the most effective and efficient deployment of staff involved in the delivery of the co-curricular sport programme

8. Attend Leadership in Action (LiA) meetings and liaise with Heads of Upper and Lower School about leadership development opportunities offered through sport

Pay: ₹23,334.30 - ₹35,791.65 per month
