**Job Title: MIS Supervisor**

**Reports To**: IT Manager / Chief Information Officer (CIO)

**Job Summary**:
The MIS Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the operations of the management information systems, ensuring the accuracy and availability of data for decision-making. This role includes managing the daily activities of the MIS department, supervising a team of IT professionals, ensuring the security of the organization's data, and supporting business goals through effective IT solutions.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Supervise and Lead MIS Team**:

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the MIS department.
- Manage a team of IT specialists and analysts, ensuring optimal performance and professional growth.
- Coordinate training programs to enhance the team’s technical skills.
- Ensure all team members are adhering to organizational standards and protocols.
- **Information Systems Management**:

- Perform regular system audits and backups to ensure data security and integrity.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization’s IT infrastructure.
- **Data Management and Reporting**:

- Develop and maintain reporting systems that provide actionable insights for decision-making.
- Ensure that reports, dashboards, and data analysis are delivered accurately and in a timely manner.
- Analyze data flow to recommend improvements or upgrades for more efficient reporting and analytics.
- **Problem Resolution**:

- Serve as the primary point of contact for troubleshooting system-related issues.
- Oversee the identification and resolution of any software or hardware issues impacting MIS operations.
- **Security and Compliance**:

- Ensure MIS systems are secure from internal and external threats.
- Maintain confidentiality and integrity of data according to organizational policies and legal requirements.
- Implement security protocols, including encryption and access controls, to protect sensitive information.
- **Collaboration with Stakeholders**:

- Work closely with senior management to understand business needs and recommend IT solutions.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify opportunities for process improvements through technology.
- Act as a liaison between technical staff and non-technical stakeholders.
- **Budget and Resource Management**:

- Assist in budget planning and control for MIS department projects and resources.
- Evaluate and recommend new software, hardware, and tools to support organizational objectives.
- **System Upgrades and Development**:

- Lead the implementation of new MIS software or systems, including upgrades and customizations.
- Monitor and evaluate emerging technology trends to keep systems and processes up-to-date.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- **Experience**: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in MIS, IT, or systems management, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role.
- **Technical Skills**:

- Strong understanding of database management, business intelligence tools, and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- Proficient in software development, programming, and systems integration.
- Knowledge of data security and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
- **Soft Skills**:

- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- **Certifications**: Preferred certifications like PMP (Project Management Professional), ITIL, or similar certifications related to systems management.

**Working Conditions**:

- Full-time, office-based with occasional remote work options.
- May require after-hours support and on-call availability for urgent system issues.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹11,952.19 - ₹53,880.76 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift

Supplemental Pay:

- Yearly bonus
