**Job Title: Production Supervisor - Printing, Washing & Dyeing Unit**

**Location**: Kolkata

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Supervise day-to-day operations in **printing, washing, and dyeing sections**:

- Monitor production schedules and ensure timely completion of orders
- Allocate manpower and ensure optimum utilization of resources
- Ensure adherence to quality standards, color consistency, and finishing parameters
- Conduct daily briefings and communicate production targets to operators
- Coordinate with maintenance for timely repair of machinery or utilities
- Track consumption of dyes, chemicals, and materials and minimize wastage
- Maintain production reports, shift records, and downtime analysis
- Implement safety, health, and environmental procedures in the shop floor
- Support in process improvement and troubleshooting production issues
- Train workers on best practices and production discipline

**Key Skills & Competencies**:

- Knowledge of têxtile **printing (rotary/flat screen/digital)**, **washing**, and **dyeing processes**:

- Strong understanding of **fabric handling**, chemical usage, and machine settings
- Ability to manage teams and production timelines under pressure
- Familiar with production planning, quality parameters, and compliance standards
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, ERP preferred)
- Good communication and leadership skills

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Diploma/Degree in Textile Engineering or equivalent
- 2 years and above of relevant experience in a têxtile production unit
- Experience in managing a team in **printing, dyeing, or washing operations**
