**JIRA ADMINISTRATOR**

Exciting opportunity for an experienced Jira Administrator to join our Corporate Delivery team in Surat, Gujarat.Take a key role in driving success by managing, configuring, and optimizing our Jira software for project management and issue tracking.

**About Requirement**:

- The individual has **7+ years** of relevant experience, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science,Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of Jira administration, configuration, and customization is essential.
- Proficiency in Jira Query Language (JQL) and a solid understanding of scripting languages is required.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban is expected.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and strong communication and interpersonal skills are crucial for success in this role.

**Additionally, it would be beneficial if you have**:

- **Certification in Jira Administration (e.g., Atlassian Certified Jira Administrator).**:

- **Knowledge of database management and SQL.**

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Jira Configuration and Administration**: Manage and administer Jira and Jira Service Management configurations.Customize Jira projects, workflows, schemes, fields, permissions, notifications and automations. Install, configure,and maintain Jira add-ons, plugins, and integrations. Perform regular system audits, and overall maintenance to ensure optimal performance.

**User Management**: Create and manage user accounts and groups. Configure user roles, permissions, and access controls. Provide user support and training to ensure efficient use of Jira.

**Workflow and Process Management**: Design, implement, and manage workflows to support business processes.Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into Jira configurations. Implement best practices for project management and issue tracking within Jira.

**Reporting and Dashboards**: Develop custom reports, dashboards, and filters for users and management. UtilizeJira Query Language (JQL) to create complex queries for data retrieval and reporting.

**System Integration**: Integrate Jira with other software tools and systems used within the organization. Ensure seamless data flow and synchronization between Jira and other platforms.

**Troubleshooting and Support**: Provide technical support for Jira-related issues. Troubleshoot and resolve system performance and user-related issues. Coordinate with Atlassian support for escalated issues.
