**Job Summary**:
The Purchase Executive is responsible for overseeing and managing the purchasing activities for the company. This includes sourcing suppliers, negotiating prices, placing orders, and ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of materials or services. The role involves working closely with the finance, inventory, and production departments to ensure smooth operations and maintain stock levels.
- **Procurement and Sourcing**:

- Identify and source suppliers for required goods and services.
- Evaluate suppliers, negotiate terms, and manage supplier relationships.
- **Order Management**:

- Place purchase orders and track deliveries to ensure timely receipt of goods and services.
- Monitor inventory levels and initiate purchases to prevent stockouts or excess stock.
- Ensure that the orders meet quality standards and specifications.
- **Negotiation**:

- Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
- Work with suppliers to resolve any issues related to pricing, quality, or delivery delays.
- **Documentation and Reporting**:

- Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, invoices, and payments.
- Prepare regular reports on procurement activities, costs, and supplier performance.
- Keep track of budgets and cost-saving opportunities.
- **Supplier Coordination**:

- Ensure smooth communication between suppliers and internal teams.
- Handle queries and issues related to product specifications, quality concerns, and deliveries.
- Assess and monitor supplier performance to ensure compliance with company standards.
- **Inventory Control**:

- Work closely with the inventory team to ensure proper stock levels.
- Assist in maintaining accurate stock records and managing stock discrepancies.
- **Compliance**:

- Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and relevant legal and regulatory standards.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably in Industry.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Good understanding of procurement software and MS Office.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Familiarity with ERP systems.
- Knowledge of inventory management and supply chain practices.
- Experience in contract management and supplier evaluation.
