**Job Title**: Medical Records Officer
**Location**: Chettinad Institute of Medical Sciences, Manamai, East Coast Road, Thirukalukundram Taluk, Chennai - 603 102.
**Employment Type**: Full-Time
**Experience**: Prior experience in a medical college preferred

**About the Role**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for patients.
- Ensure compliance with NMC guidelines and other regulatory requirements.
- Organize, classify, and store medical records electronically and in physical formats.
- Retrieve and provide medical records for authorized personnel as needed.
- Implement and maintain efficient record-keeping systems.
- Train and supervise staff on proper medical records management practices.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
- Handle confidential patient information with the utmost discretion and professionalism.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, administrators, and other stakeholders to improve record-keeping processes.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Medical Records or a related field.
- In-depth knowledge of medical records management and NMC guidelines.
- Prior experience in a **Medical College** or healthcare institution is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in medical record software.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with coding systems (ICD-10).

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
