Autocad draughtsman Responsibilities

Responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and designs based on specifications

provided by engineers, using AUTOCAD for machines, its parts, and assemblies; this includes

interpreting sketches, calculations, and project requirements to produce precise 2D blueprints

while adhering to industry standards and regulations.

Key roles and responsibilities of a draughtsman:
1. Analysing rough sketches, design notes, and calculations provided by engineers to

understand project requirements.

2. Generating detailed drawings of components, assemblies, and complete systems

using AutoCAD

3. Accurately adding dimensions, tolerances, material specifications, and other

relevant annotations to drawings to ensure clarity for manufacturing.

4. Adhering to established design standards, drafting conventions, and project

specifications.

5. Regularly communicating with design engineers, production engineers to clarify

design intent, address technical concerns, and incorporate feedback into drawings.

6. Creating detailed drawings of individual parts, including sections, elevations, and

exploded views to facilitate fabrication.

7. Performing quality checks on drawings to identify errors, inconsistencies, and

potential design flaws, making necessary revisions as needed.

8. Preparing technical drawing packages including title blocks, revision history, and

material lists.

9. Visiting manufacturing facility to gather field measurements and verify design

accuracy.

**Salary**: As per industrial standards.

Qualification: 1) BE/ITI Mechanical Students

2). 2D AutoCAD students will be preferred.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹21,000.00 per month
