Summary:
**Responsibilities**:
Network Management: Monitor and manage the organization's local area network (LAN) and wide area network (WAN) to ensure seamless connectivity and troubleshoot any network-related issues.
Server Management: Administer and maintain the organization's servers, both physical and virtual, to guarantee their reliability, uptime, and data integrity.
User Support: Provide technical support and assistance to end-users, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues, resolving system errors, and assisting with software installations and upgrades.
Security and Backup: Implement and maintain security measures to safeguard the organization's IT infrastructure against unauthorized access, viruses, and data breaches. Regularly perform data backups and ensure disaster recovery plans are up to date.
User Accounts Management: Create, modify, and delete user accounts and access privileges based on the organization's policies and employees' roles.
Hardware and Software Procurement: Assist in the evaluation, selection, and procurement of IT hardware and software, ensuring compatibility and value for the organization.
IT Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of IT infrastructure, configurations, and procedures to facilitate troubleshooting, future planning, and knowledge sharing.
IT Monitoring: Monitor system performance, resource utilization, and security logs to proactively identify and resolve potential issues before they impact operations.
IT Policies and Compliance: Enforce IT policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Stay up-to-date with best practices and recommend improvements to enhance IT security and efficiency.
Vendor Management: Work with third-party vendors and service providers to ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met, and technical issues are resolved in a timely manner.
**Requirements**:
Any degree or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional) are advantageous.
Proven experience as a System Administrator or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of IT infrastructure and systems administration best practices.
Proficient in managing Windows and/or Linux server environments, Active Directory, and domain configurations.Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
Sound knowledge of networking protocols, routing, switching, and firewalls.
Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software problems effectively and independently.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to interact with end-users and collaborate with team members.
Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Proactive mindset and willingness to stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends.
**Salary**: ₹20,000.08 - ₹30,000.00 per month
