Position - Extruding Machine Operator

Location - Mauritius

MISSION
- To operate extruding machine and produce film of the highest quality consistent with the Quality Policy of the company.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to read and write
- Ability to follow instructions
- Ability to work under pressure

**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Follow the rules and regulations of the company set out in the employee handbook
- Operate machine in accordance with instructions as set out in WI18.01/4 as follows:
1) Verify that temperature switch is on and the correct temperature setting.

2) Check the raw material available in the machine.

3) Ensure that the die has reached the correct temperature.

4) Clean die.

5) Ensure all appropriate tools for start up and production are available at hand.

6) Ensure that the receiving rolls are properly set up on the machine.

7) Start the extrusion process.

8) Set machine such that the extruded rolls meet specifications of Production Notes

9) Verify that all parameters are within specifications (see list below, Re. 15) prior to bulk production.

10) Run the bulk Production at optimal speed.

11) Make regular visual checks to ensure that the flame is still on when extruding rolls that need to be treated.

12) At each change of roll, verify that all parameters are within specifications.

13) When there is a need to remove air from the film being extruded the operator must change to a new roll.

14) File in information on the Extruder Data Sheet F 18.03

15) Ensure that the rolls are at all times free from:
LEVEL OF AUTHORITY
- To make necessary adjustments to maintain specifications

**Salary**: ₹37,500.00 - ₹56,400.00 per month
