The Store Keeper ensures that stock is maintained at optimal levels, and that materials and goods are available when needed by various departments.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Inventory Management**:
- Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing materials and goods.
- Perform regular stock checks and ensure proper inventory levels are maintained.
- Monitor stock expiration dates (if applicable) and manage stock rotation to avoid losses.
- Update and manage inventory database and perform physical counts as required.
- **Receiving and Storing Goods**:
- Receive incoming shipments and verify the quantity and quality of goods against purchase orders or delivery notes.
- Inspect goods for damage or defects and report any issues to the appropriate department or supervisor.
- Store goods in an organized manner, ensuring they are easily accessible and properly shelved.
- **Issuing and Distributing Goods**:
- Issue materials to staff or departments as per their requests, ensuring proper documentation is filled.
- Ensure the timely distribution of stock and manage the flow of goods based on operational needs.
- **Record Keeping and Documentation**:
- Maintain accurate stock records, receipts, and issue logs.
- Prepare and update reports regarding stock levels, goods movement, and inventory discrepancies.
- Ensure proper documentation for every transaction (goods receipt, issuance, returns, etc.)
- **Stock Control**:
- Monitor and maintain the minimum stock levels to avoid overstocking or stockouts.
- Prepare requisitions for stock replenishment when required.
- Assist in preparing materials for audits and stock-taking processes.
- **Warehouse/Store Organization**:
- Ensure the store or warehouse is clean, organized, and safe to work in.
- Implement safety standards and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Manage storage areas efficiently and optimize space usage.
- **Coordination and Communication**:
- Coordinate with the procurement team, suppliers, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Communicate any discrepancies or issues regarding stock to relevant departments or supervisors.
- **Maintenance of Equipment**:
- Ensure that warehouse equipment (such as forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.) is maintained and in good working condition.
**Qualifications**:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in inventory management or logistics is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Store Keeper, Warehouse Assistant, or similar role.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to operate warehouse machinery and equipment (if applicable).
- Basic knowledge of inventory software or systems.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
**Working Conditions**:
- Timings will be 10:30am to 09:30PM

Pay: ₹11,485.37 - ₹15,038.16 per month
