Job Summary: The Procurement Executive is responsible for supporting the procurement function by assisting in the sourcing and purchasing of goods and services. This role involves coordinating with suppliers, managing purchase orders, and ensuring efficient procurement processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sourcing and Supplier Coordination:
Assist in identifying potential suppliers and gathering information on products or services.
Communicate with suppliers to obtain quotes, negotiate terms, and ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Purchase Order Processing:
Generate and manage purchase orders by organizational policies and procedures.
Track and follow up on orders to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Vendor Relationship Management:
Establish and maintain positive relationships with suppliers.
Assist in evaluating supplier performance and addressing any issues or concerns.
- Documentation and Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of procurement activities.
Ensure that all procurement documentation is complete and in compliance with company policies.
Vendor onboarding.
- Cost Analysis:
Support cost analysis and market research to identify cost-effective purchasing options.
Collaborate with senior procurement staff to implement cost-saving initiatives.
- Inventory Management:
Implement and maintain effective inventory management practices.
Regularly update inventory records, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to optimize stock levels and minimize excess or obsolete inventory.
- Request for Proposals (RFPs) and Quotations:
Assist in the preparation of RFPs and RFQs for IT-related products and services.
Evaluate vendor proposals and quotations to determine the best value for the organization.
- Contract Management:
Assist in drafting and reviewing contracts with IT vendors.
Ensure that contracts comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
Monitor contract performance and adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).
- Compliance and Process Adherence:
Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.
Assist in the development and improvement of procurement processes.
- Collaboration with IT Teams:
Collaborate with IT teams to understand technical specifications and requirements.
Ensure that procurement decisions align with the IT infrastructure and development roadmap.
- Communication and Collaboration:
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs.
Communicate effectively with vendors, internal teams, and other relevant parties.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous experience in a procurement or purchasing role is a plus.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
