**Job Overview**:
The Production Assistant will support the manufacturing team in ensuring that the production process of furnaces is carried out smoothly, on schedule, and in compliance with safety standards. This role involves helping with assembly, material handling, quality control, equipment maintenance, and documentation.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Production Support**:

- Assist in the assembly, welding, and fabrication of furnace components.
- Ensure the availability of required materials and tools at workstations.
- Monitor production schedules and ensure timely delivery of parts or assemblies to meet deadlines.
- **Material Handling**:

- Receive and inspect raw materials and components to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Coordinate the storage and movement of materials between different departments (e.g., assembly, welding, or testing).
- Assist in inventory management, ensuring that the required raw materials are available for production runs.
- **Quality Control**:

- Assist in conducting quality checks at various stages of the production process.
- Report any defects or discrepancies in materials or products to the supervisor or quality control team.
- Ensure that all furnace components are assembled and finished according to specifications.
- **Equipment Maintenance**:

- Support in the maintenance of machinery and equipment used in the furnace manufacturing process.
- Ensure that tools, machines, and other production equipment are clean, operational, and maintained according to company guidelines.
- Report any malfunctions or issues with equipment to the maintenance team.
- **Vacuum Testing & Flange Design**:

- Conduct vacuum tests and analyse results.
- Design flanges for vacuum systems.
- Troubleshoot, documentation test findings and solutions.
- **Documentation & Reporting**:

- Help maintain production records, including inventory levels, work orders, and equipment maintenance logs.
- Assist with preparing reports on production progress and issues encountered.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.
- **Safety Compliance**:

- Adhere to safety protocols and wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety.
- Report safety hazards or violations promptly to the supervisor.
- **Team Collaboration**:

- Work closely with other production staff, including engineers, assembly workers, and quality control teams.
- Communicate effectively with production leads and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
- Provide support to more senior staff as needed.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
