A Nursing School Tutor is responsible for providing academic support and guidance to nursing students by delivering lectures, conducting practical demonstrations, facilitating discussions, and assessing their understanding of nursing concepts and skills, ensuring they develop the necessary knowledge and critical thinking abilities to succeed in their nursing education; this role often involves close collaboration with faculty to design course materials and assessments, while offering individual support to students struggling with specific topics. Key Responsibilities:

- **Teaching and Instruction**:

- Deliver lectures on various nursing topics, including anatomy, pharmacology, patient assessment, and clinical procedures.
- Conduct practical demonstrations in a simulated clinical setting to reinforce theoretical knowledge.
- Develop and utilize diverse teaching methods to cater to different learning styles.
- **Curriculum Development**:

- Collaborate with faculty to design course materials, lesson plans, and assessments aligned with nursing curriculum standards.
- Contribute to the development and revision of nursing course syllabi to ensure relevance and accuracy.
- **Student Assessment and Feedback**:

- Evaluate student performance through assignments, quizzes, exams, and clinical evaluations.
- Provide constructive feedback to students to identify areas of improvement and guide their learning
- **Student Support**:

- Offer individual tutoring sessions to address student concerns and provide additional support on challenging topics.
- Monitor student progress and identify potential learning difficulties
- Refer students to appropriate resources or faculty members when necessary

Required Qualifications:

- A valid registered nurse (RN) license
- MSC in nursing
- Experience in clinical practice, preferably in relevant specialty areas
- Strong understanding of nursing theory and practice
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students
- Ability to design engaging lesson plans and utilize various teaching methodologies
- Commitment to student success and providing quality education
