**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Classroom Instruction**:
- Teach **Chemistry** to students from **Classes 8 to 12** following the school’s academic curriculum based on the **CBSE** syllabus.
- Develop lesson plans, study materials, and practice questions aligned with the syllabus and competitive exam patterns (NEET/JEE).
- Incorporate both theoretical and practical approaches to chemistry, making use of laboratory experiments for better concept clarity.
- **Competitive Exam Preparation**:
- Design a targeted curriculum for **NEET** and **JEE**, focusing on topics from physical, organic, and inorganic chemistry.
- Conduct extra classes and mock tests to help students excel in **NEET/JEE**, and guide them through problem-solving techniques and exam strategies.
- Regularly assess students' progress through assignments, tests, and quizzes, giving feedback for improvement.
- **Student Mentorship**:
- Mentor high-performing students to reach their full potential and support struggling students with additional coaching.
- **Classroom Management**:
- Maintain an engaging and interactive learning environment.
- Ensure proper discipline and a positive learning atmosphere in the class.
- Manage the practical aspects of laboratory work, ensuring the safety of students during experiments.
- **Resource Development**:
- Develop and update teaching materials, including worksheets, practice questions, and notes.
- Stay updated with changes in the **CBSE** curriculum and exam patterns for **NEET/JEE**, and incorporate them into teaching.
- **Collaboration and Professional Development**:
- Collaborate with other science teachers to design cross-disciplinary projects and co-curricular activities.
- Participate in staff meetings, workshops, and professional development programs to stay updated with teaching innovations and methodologies.
**Qualifications**:
- **Educational Requirements**:
- **B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education)** or a professional teaching qualification is required.
- **Experience**:
- At least **2-3 years of teaching experience** at the secondary and higher secondary levels (Classes 8 to 12).
- Prior experience in preparing students for **NEET/JEE** or other competitive exams is highly desirable.
- **Skills**:
- Strong command over physical, organic, and inorganic chemistry.
- Proficient in problem-solving and exam-focused strategies.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex concepts in a simple manner.
- Ability to use digital tools and resources (e.g., Smart Boards, e-learning platforms).
**Preferred Skills**:
- Experience in conducting online classes and handling virtual learning platforms.
- Certification or training in exam coaching for **NEET/JEE**.
- Knowledge of the latest developments in the field of chemistry education.
