Admission Counselor

Position Overview:
As an Abroad Educational Consultancy Counselor, your primary responsibility will be to guide and assist students in their pursuit of international education opportunities. You will play a crucial role in providing accurate information, counseling services, and support to students and their families throughout the entire process. Your goal will be to help students make informed decisions and successfully navigate the complexities of studying abroad.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Student Counseling: Provide personalized guidance and counseling to students regarding study abroad programs, including course selection, university admissions, scholarship opportunities, and visa requirements. Understand their individual goals, academic backgrounds, and career aspirations to offer tailored advice.

2. Program Research: Stay updated on various study abroad programs, educational institutions, and their admission requirements. Conduct thorough research to gather accurate information on universities, courses, curriculum, fees, accommodation options, and other relevant factors to assist students in making informed choices.

5. Test Preparation: Offer advice and support for standardized tests required for study abroad, such as TOEFL, IELTS, GRE, or GMAT. Recommend suitable preparation materials and resources, and help students develop effective study plans.

7. Pre-departure Orientation: Organize pre-departure orientation sessions to prepare students for their overseas education experience. Cover topics such as culture shock, adjusting to a new environment, academic expectations, and practical aspects like accommodation, health insurance, and safety.

8. Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with educational institutions, universities, and other stakeholders involved in the study abroad process. Collaborate with representatives from partner institutions to facilitate seamless admissions and enrollment procedures.

10. Professional Development: Stay abreast of current trends, changes in policies, and developments in the field of international education. Attend conferences, workshops, and training programs to enhance your knowledge and skills as an educational consultant.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (education, counseling, international relations, etc.). A master's degree is preferred.
- Previous experience in educational counseling, preferably in the field of international education or study abroad programs.
- Strong knowledge of the education systems, universities, and study opportunities available in different countries.
- Familiarity with visa procedures, immigration policies, and scholarship programs.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with students and their families.
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple student cases simultaneously.
- Proficiency in English (additional language skills are an advantage).

**Salary**: ₹10,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
