**Reporting to**: Chartered Accountant (CA) / Senior Manager

**Overview**:
The Articled Assistant will work under the guidance of a qualified Chartered Accountant, gaining practical experience in accounting, auditing, taxation, and financial advisory. The role provides hands-on experience to help complete CA articleship requirements and prepares the assistant for the CA profession.

## Key Responsibilities:

- **Audit Support**: Assist in statutory audits, internal audits, and tax audits for clients. Prepare audit reports and work papers.
- **Taxation**: Support in filing income tax returns, GST returns, TDS compliance, and preparation of tax audit reports. Help in handling tax assessments and notices.
- **Financial Accounting**: Assist in preparing financial statements, balance sheets, and profit and loss accounts for clients. Handle routine accounting work.
- **Compliance**: Help ensure timely filing of various compliance documents, including ROC filings, GST, and income tax returns.
- **Client Management**: Assist in managing client accounts, responding to client queries, and resolving financial discrepancies.
- **Research**: Stay updated with the latest accounting and tax laws and assist in implementing new regulations in client work.
- **Administrative Tasks**: Assist in maintaining client records and documentation, managing client files, and preparing reports.

## Qualifications:

- **Education**: Must be enrolled in the Chartered Accountancy course under the ICAI and have cleared at least the CA Intermediate level.
- **Skills**:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good knowledge of accounting principles and tax laws
- Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software (e.g., Tally, Excel)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team environment and manage time effectively
