In this role you’ll make an impact by:

- Prepare and implement short & long-term master schedules and inventory plans to match Demand and product availability requirements
- Authorize replenishment and purchasing of finished goods based on re
- view of the Material Requirements Plan (MRP)
- Set, review, and maintain Safety Stock settings on agreed global cycle and as required during new product introductions and significant demand changes
- Follow up on orders, ensuring accurate Available to Promise (ATP) in
- formation for Customer Service & Intercompany commitments
- Support new product introductions
- Through alignment with relevant Demand Planner & Global Supply Co
- ordinator, assign and maintain Phase-In/Phase-Out production plans
- Through alignment with relevant Demand Planner, assign and maintain Stock Curves when managing upside potential exceeding Demand Plan forecast
- Prepare input and participate in monthly meetings with supply operations.
- Support PPM opportunity evaluations with analysis, scenario-building, and escalate when needed.
- Monitor, evaluate, and communicate supply risks and escalate through appropriate stakeholder channels when necessary to drive identification of resolution options for supply risks
- Monitor and drive resolution of SAP/MRP processing errors
- Maintain data integrity of ERP planning parameters. Parameters such as lead times, lot sizes, safety stocks, delivery times, and order file data for all master scheduled ItemsMaintain planning settings in SAP ECC/APO material master for finished goods

Potentially relevant experience:

- Bachelor degree in Engineering or Science. Master Degree or a Post-Graduate Dip in Supply Chain Management/ Materials Management or allied fields
- APICS Certification will be an added advantage.
- 7 to 10 years’ experience in Planning / Supply Chain in a reputed company
- Experience with MRP II, SAP MM module and SAP APO platforms
- Experience in operations, inventory management, MRP, and lean manufacturing processes.
- Good problem-solving skills
- Can drive continuous process improvement, strives to improve efficiency, and willing to challenge processes where favorable alternatives may be available
- Strong analytical and communication skills, written and oral English in addition to relevant regional language
- Ability to work across many levels in organization
- Good working knowledge of MS-Excel and data mining from SAP, APO, and BW/AAO platforms
