What You’ll Be Doing:
Position summary

We are looking for an experienced SAS administrator to manage SAS platform and will work directly under US counterpart and work in tandem with Engineering, Analytics, and End User Services teams.

Essential functions
- Responsible for Managing SAS grid environment on Linux environment. Excellent Linux OS skills are a must. Admin will be responsible for resolving sas issues.adding sas users create DSNs
- user management, saswork management, monitoring, and troubleshooting. Experienced in using SAS management console. SAS Enterprise guide and SAS add in for Microsoft Office.
- Troubleshoot reporting/connectivity issues related to SAS.
- Work with SAS developers to support their needs in the best way possible

Eligibility criteria:

- Bachelor's degree (B.S./B.A.) in computer science, information systems, informatics, statistics, engineering, or another quantitative field or equivalent from a college or university with IT focused specialization (required)
- Minimum of 5 years in SAS grid administration.
- Overall responsibility for the effective operation of the SAS Analytics Environment
- Work with users providing advice on the best practice for the creation of analytics processes, programs or models to best utilize the SAS environment
- Via SAS Management Console, control user access to various parts of the SAS system, granting permissions to read, write, create or view reports and data within the system - ensure that users see only the information that they are authorized to access
- Strong interpersonal and/or communication skills (will need to communicate with internal and external stakeholders on regular basis) (required)
- Working knowledge of the fundamentals of systems analysis and different components of systems (required)
