We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive Audit Associate to join our team and support the delivery of high-quality financial statement audits and employee benefit plan audits. As an Audit Associate, you will assist in the planning, execution, and completion of audits for a variety of clients, including both financial statement audits and specialized Employee Benefit Plans (EBPs).

In this role, you will work closely with clients and the audit team to ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies. You will also gain valuable experience in audits of 401(k), pension, and other employee benefit plans.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Audit Planning and Execution:
Assist in planning and coordinating audit engagements for financial statement audits and employee benefit plans (EBP) audits.

Perform detailed audit procedures, including testing of internal controls, transactions, account balances, and disclosures.

Assist in identifying and evaluating risks, developing audit programs, and executing audit tests.

Financial Statement Audits:
Perform substantive testing on financial transactions and balances, including cash, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and revenue recognition.

Review and analyze financial statements in accordance with US GAAP and other applicable standards.

Employee Benefit Plan Audits:
Conduct audits of employee benefit plans (such as 401(k), pension plans, health plans) to ensure compliance with ERISA, DOL, and IRS regulations.

Assist in the preparation and review of Form 5500 filings and related documents.

Client Interaction:
Build and maintain relationships with client staff, providing updates and addressing queries regarding audit procedures.

Collaborate with senior team members to identify key audit areas and manage client expectations.

Documentation and Reporting:
Document work papers and audit evidence in compliance with firm and professional standards.

Assist in the preparation of financial statements and audit reports.

Participate in the identification and communication of audit findings to senior management.

Continuous Learning and Development:
Stay up to date on changes in accounting, auditing standards, and regulations (US GAAP, ERISA, etc.).

Participate in internal training programs to enhance your technical knowledge and soft skills.

**Qualifications**:
**Education**:
US Experience in Audit
or

CA Inter -with article ship or CA qualified

**Experience**:
1+ years of experience in public accounting or audit, with exposure to financial audits and/or employee benefit plan audits preferred.

Prior experience working with employee benefit plans (EBP audits) is a plus.

**Skills and Competencies**:
Strong understanding of financial statement audits and employee benefit plan audits (401(k), pension, welfare plans).

Knowledge of US GAAP and regulations such as ERISA, DOL, and IRS guidelines.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Ability to work effectively in teams and independently.

Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.30 - ₹60,000.89 per month

Schedule:
