**About the Role**:
We’re looking for a sharp, curious, and reliable **News Reporter** to join our editorial team. If you have a passion for storytelling, a nose for news, and the ability to work under tight deadlines, this is your chance to be part of a dynamic newsroom that values accuracy, integrity, and impactful journalism.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Research, investigate, and write original news stories across various beats (e.g., politics, education, entertainment, civic issues).
- Conduct interviews and gather information from credible sources on the ground or remotely.
- Cover live events, press conferences, and breaking news stories.
- Collaborate with editors, photographers, and digital producers to deliver compelling multimedia content.
- Ensure all reporting meets editorial, legal, and ethical standards.
- Stay up to date with current events and trends to pitch relevant story ideas.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in reporting or news writing (freshers with strong portfolios may apply).
- Excellent communication skills in English and/or Hindi (local language proficiency is a plus).
- Strong writing, research, and fact-checking skills.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and work flexible hours, including weekends or evenings during breaking stories.
- Basic knowledge of video/audio editing or multimedia journalism is a plus.
