**Key Responsibilities**:
*Plan, prepare, and deliver geography lessons aligned with the Maharashtra State Board syllabus.
*Design and implement engaging teaching strategies tailored to different age groups (Vth to Xth)
*Use appropriate teaching aids, maps, models, audio-visual content, and digital tools.
*Prepare lesson plans, assessments, and project-based learning modules.
*Evaluate and assess students’ progress through regular tests, class participation, and assignments.
*Maintain accurate records of student performance.
*Organize geography-related activities.*Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and professional development programs.
*Ensure classroom discipline and promote a positive learning environment.
*Stay updated with changes in the SSC Board curriculum and integrate them accordingly.
**Qualifications and Requirements**:
*Bachelor’s Degree in Geography (B.A./B.Sc.) is mandatory.
*B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) from a recognized institution.
*Minimum 2-3 years of experience teaching geography in a school following the Maharashtra State Board curriculum preferred.
*Excellent command over English (both written and spoken).
*Proficient in using technology and digital tools for teaching.Strong classroom management and communication skills.
*Ability to engage and motivate students across different learning levels.
